1. Data collected

Nower processes account data, profile information, preferences, profile photos, proposals, “My love” and “Say goodbye” choices, matches, contact methods, reports and technical data required to secure the service.

2. Purposes

This data is used to create and secure accounts, select eligible profiles, manage proposals, choices and matches, and process reports.

3. Required data

All required fields in “About me” and “What I want”, together with a photo and contact method, are needed to activate the profile and receive new proposals. Saved required data must be replaced before it can be removed. Removing the introduction deactivates the profile for new proposals until it is entered again.

4. Location

The precise address may be used to calculate proximity. It is never shown to other members.

5. Profile photo

Members upload a recent photo from their device. Nower does not perform facial recognition or identity verification. The photo is only shown to authorized members and the application does not offer a download function.

7. Retention

Data is kept only for as long as required for each purpose and applicable obligations. Exact retention periods by category will be published before production.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

9. Security

Appropriate measures are implemented to limit unauthorized access, loss or alteration of data.

10. Data controller

The controller’s full legal identity and contact details will be added before the service opens to the public.
