1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of Nower, a matching service for adults seeking a serious relationship.
2. Acceptance
Creating an account means accepting these terms of use and the privacy policy.
3. Access requirements
The service is reserved for people aged 18 or over. Nower currently only offers heterosexual meetings between a man and a woman. Each member must create their own account and provide accurate information.
4. Profile and proposals
Activating a profile requires complete information, a profile photo and a contact method. A woman or a man may have up to three active proposals or matches at the same time, subject to compatible profiles being available. Each proposal remains available for 72 hours and has its own 12-hour renewal delay. Pausing prevents new proposals without removing existing proposals or matches.
5. Photo and contact methods
Both people must provide a profile photo and a contact method. During a proposal, “View their photo” reveals the photo to both people. The photo may be replaced at any time. When the proposal becomes a match, the current contact methods are shown to both people. Nower does not provide internal messaging.
6. Match follow-up
When both people choose “My love”, the proposal becomes a match and keeps its information. A match remains visible until “End” or “Report” is selected. Its card then disappears immediately and a new proposal may arrive 12 hours later. A match must be reported before it is ended. Reporting permanently prevents the two profiles from being proposed to one another again.
7. Account security
Members are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and must report any unauthorized use of their account.
8. Permitted use
The service must be used lawfully and respectfully. Misleading information, identity theft, infringement of another person’s rights, and misuse of photos or contact details are prohibited and may be reported.
9. Suspension or deletion
An account may be restricted or deleted following a serious or repeated breach of these terms. The decision can be appealed by writing to contact@nower.app from the email address associated with the account. The appeal is reviewed by an authorized person without disclosing the author of any report.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The applicable version and its update date are displayed on this page.
11. Publisher and hosting
The publisher’s full legal identity, the publication director and the hosting provider’s details will be added before the service opens to the public.
